Get ready for week 2!

What is your child learning this week?
In Math we will start our unit on making 10, representing numbers to 10, and graphing. In Language Arts we will continue to practice our Daily 5 procedures which I hope your child has mentioned! So far we have started Read to Self. We will continue our lessons on manners, classroom rules and procedures, and how to build a classroom community. Later in the week students will complete their first Narrative independently so that I can assess where they are in their writing. We will also use this to see how far they have come at the end of the year.

Open House
This Thursday from 5-6pm I invite you to join me for Open House! I will go over many different aspects of our classroom and schedule as well as answer any parent questions or concerns! This is going to be a parent only event so please make arrangements for your children. Thank you for your support and understanding!
